Product types
Laparoscopic and open surgery
Uterine manipulators position the uterus during laparoscopic hysterectomy and define the colpotomy line before the vaginal cuff is divided, in procedures with a benign indication. Self-retaining surgical retractors maintain exposure in open pelvic surgery without requiring an assistant to hold them by hand, while specialty retractors give exposure in narrower operative fields. Subcuticular staplers close the surgical wound, and an intraoperative Doppler probe confirms blood flow or vessel patency during the procedure itself.
Office gynaecology
Office hysteroscopy systems visualise the uterine cavity in the clinic, without needing an operating theatre, mainly in the workup of abnormal uterine bleeding. Loop electrosurgical excision systems remove the cervical transformation zone where dysplasia is present. Pessaries offer non-surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse, vaginal specula give access during examination, and specimen collection devices obtain cytological or endometrial material for analysis.
Labour and delivery
Cervical ripening devices help the cervix prepare mechanically for labour, where induction is needed. Assisted vaginal delivery devices provide additional support during the expulsion stage when spontaneous delivery slows. Caesarean instruments and retractors provide access and exposure during the surgical procedure itself.
Postpartum care
Postpartum haemorrhage devices apply tamponade within the uterine cavity, either balloon-based or vacuum-induced, to control bleeding when uterine contraction alone is not enough. Perineal and uterine repair instruments repair tissue damaged during delivery.
